[HathawaySchool] NECAP Presentation for Parents

Hello, 
 
As you may remember we sent you the NECAP (New England Common Assessment Program) assessments on February 7, 2008. At the time we told you that a results comparison of Hathaway School was available on the Rhode Island Department of Education website at www.ridoe.net . To access our reports you were told to select STATE TESTING, NECAP, and Hathaway School. 
 

Now I want to tell you that on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, you, as a parent or guardian, are invited to attend a  NECAP Parent Report Night at the Portsmouth Middle School Little Theater from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.  

At this time, an overview of the NECAP Student Report, which provides information about individual student performance, will be given by Mary Ann Snider, Director of Assessment and Accountability from the Rhode Island Department of Education. I suggest you bring your child's report with you so you can have your questions answered.  

 

I hope that you will find this important informational night helpful in understanding the reports of your child's progress as measured by these assessments.
