Dear Parents/Guardians, 
 
Just a note of THANKS to all of you for your cooperation in getting our first day of school off to a smooth start. It was so wonderful to observe the children and the teachers in the classrooms and to know we were off to a great start of another great year. We got lots of positive feedback from and about happy kids, too. 
 
We are all working diligently to make sure all of out student information about transportation and dismissals is correct. Classes do not finish this year until 3:15 p.m. so please do not dismiss your child before that time. 
 
Thank you for the prompt return of all of the information forms that we need to keep your children safe, connected with classmates and ready for emergency dismissals. Your  Volunteer in Schools forms will be given to Christina Campbell, our VIS coordinator, and she will be getting in touch with you soon. The forms for the Hathaway School Directory will be given to Pat Wentzel, a member of our Hathaway Parent Association Leadership team, too. 
 
Again, thanks for making our jobs easier by getting the information returned on time. Hopefully with the Listserv as a way to remind our school community, we will not have to be making so many "reminder" phone calls. 
 
Please keep in touch with me so we can continue to work together for the BEST education for your child/ren. I am so fortunate to work with such a highly professional school staff so I assure you that they will do their BEST for al of our students.
